I'm married to Flora Hsueh-Klassen and we have two children: Levi (16) is in the 7th grade at Ching-Hwa Junior High and Micah (14) is in the 5th grade at Hsin Shen Elementary. We also have a 16-year-old border collie named Mowgli who can barely walk.

I have two older brothers who are both artists. Tim lives in Portland, Oregon and in addition to art, drives for Trimet, the Portland City bus system. Steve creates art full time by sculpting and painting wood. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Heather, and son, Oliver (14).

My father, Randolph Klassen, is a retired minister and watercolor artist. He lives in Calaveras County, California with his wife, Joyce who is also an artist.

My Mother, Corinne Peterson, is a visual artist who does both studio and public art in clay and encaustic. She lives with her husband, Tom Gradel, in Chicago, Illinois.
