Page One bookstore seems to have the largest collection of English books, including children's books, especially in their store at Taipei 101. They also have a second, smaller store near Fuxing and Tunhua East Road. It's a pity you can't search for titles on line through their website. Eslite Bookstores. Of course you know these. They are all over Taipei and most stores also have a pretty good selection of Children's books in English. Although nowadays they seem to focus more on children's books in Chinese, they still have one of the best collections in English. Bookman Books. This Bookstore, near Taida, focuses on English literature and supplying books for university classes. It has a very good collection of literature in English including many well-known children's books. Caves Books. It's at the corner of Zhong Shan North Road and Ming Chuan West Road Just Children's Books Silex books. This is an excellent small bookstore entirely devoted to children's literature in English. They are especially good with picture books. Their website is also very informative. They are located on Ching Hua Street near Da An Forest park, south of Hsin Yi Road. MacKids. This store specializes in importing English children's books to supply to local schools. They also have an excellent showroom in northern Taipei: Mingchuan E. Rd , sec. 3, no. 166, 2F. Hello Book Club. Order English children's books through the mail and get new ones every month. Libraries The Small World room at the Da An branch of Taipei City library has a large room devoted to children's literature in English. The library is located at No. 125, Sec. 2, Jian Guo S.
